RIPPER RUGBY!!!

Ripper Rugby has started up again this term & we are all super excited. 

Our Teacher for Ripper is Nick, he is Awesome and we love learing all the new skills and competing against each other in class. 

we also enjoy our Ripper Rugby games every Wednesday after school with Mr Timo.

TERM #2 WEEK#5

MONDAY 1ST JUNE 2014

NO SCHOOL TODAY AS WE ALL CELEBRATE THE QUEENS BIRTHDAY...



Also a big congrats to our AWESOME PRINCIPAL WHAEA BARB who was awarded a  NEW ZEALAND Merit for services to Education. What she has done for students, Whanau and our education system as a whole is immeasurable. You are a true inspiration. xx


TUESDAY 2ND JUNE 2014

Today we started designing our very own digital foot print. 
We started by drawing symbols that represented us and showcased what good citizens are. 

Here is what we have done so far, we plan to use these in week #7 for our SECRET #7 CITIZEN TASK we have planned where we do #7 awesome Secret Missions that will showcase our way of giving back to the community.  Check out our awesome Ideas.

SAMOAN LANGUAGE WEEK!!!

Samoan Language Week.  

The whole school had a mufti day to raise money for another school in Samoa. Everyone wore bright, colourful clothing.
Was an Amazing day filled with fun and laughter.  Even Aunty Tala made it to the SPS Assembly...
Nothing like the tropical island right here at Sylvia Park School. 
Was so great to see our very first Samoan Group here at Sylvia Park School.

NETBALL FUN!!!!!!!!

NETBALL HAS HIT ROOM #12 & WE ARE ALL PUMPED AND READY!!!

We love Netball because it is an active sport that can be played indoors and outdoors.  In Netball we have enjoy the fun interative warm ups as well as having some contact with each other.  Netball is not just for girls but for boys too.  

Even Whaea Maxx plays with us, its such an awesome sport.
