Library & Super Car Visit

Week #4

Term#4

This week we visited the Library. Esther read us a story and showed us around the library. We were able to read books and issue books out as well.

On Thursday Sylvia Park School were lucky enough to have Super Star Rally drivers Jamie Whincup , Craig Lowndes and visit us.  

This Saturday they will be competing in the V8 Supercars event at Pukekohe Stadium on Sunday.

Niuean Language Week

We are all energised and ready to embark on a new Term and last one for the year. 

This week we celebrated NIUEAN Language Week and hosted assembly alongside Room8 and Miss Leona.

It was great to see the Niuean Group perform.

ODD SHOE DAY @ SPS!!

Today we celebrated Odd shoe day at Sylvia Park school. 

Odd shoe day is a day where everyone wears a different pairs of shoes in support for children living with cancer. 

Everyone is encouraged to take part in this Awesome day and make any kind of donation to an awesome place called Camp Quality who  to bring programs to Children Living with Cancer.

This week we celebrated Tongan Language Week

So much Colour,food and music shared by our TONGAN community. 

Students from Kowhai came dressed on FRIDAY in their TONGAN Attire. 

Great way to end the week with assembly being hosted by the Tongan Whanau.

Week#5 Term#3

This week we were lucky enough to have some awesome talented Chefs come in and share with is some easy to make healthy meals.

This week we also farewelled Charli Tupou who we will miss very much. We wish him all the best at his new school Wymouth Primary ️in Manurewa.

Term 3 Week#3

This week we have introduced IPad licences .. In order to use an iPad you need to earn it.

For Maths We have been learning to skip count in2,3,5 and 10.

It was great to have Ryu back this week so good to see him.

We were lucky enough to win LEVI this week in assembly.
