Life Education... Shave for a Cure!

Week 8 

Term 2

This week we were lucky enough to have the life education Van come and visit us here at Sylvia Park School.

It was so good to see Harold The Giraffe and learn about all the different way we can look after our bodies. 

We had a special assembly this week hosted by Room1. Mr Cee Shaved all his Hair and raised lots of money for the leukaemia  Foundation. We would like to wish our class mate Ryu all the best with his recovery and we all miss him.

Term2 

This week we had football with Dan. We had a indoor game which was really fun

We celebrated SAMOAN Language Week this Week and learnt a few new words.

We had a great assembly hosted by the SAMOAN Group , ️Room 13 & Whaea Van.

We were also lucky enough to have the Pacific Minister join us as well.❤️💋

We were lucky to get a special message and Baking from Ryu this week. We miss him so much ️xxx We are Thinking of you Ryu❤️💋

Food Revolution!!

Term2

Week4

This week we took part in the Jamie Oliver Food Revolution Day.

First we watched a Video that explained what we were going to do.

Next we got into 3 groups. One with Maxx ,Liz and Ana.

We then smashed the ingredients so that all the fruit and vegetables were smashed up and mixed together.

Then we all had the chance to make a squashed sandwich that had cheese, hummus and all the mixed fruit and Veges.

It was something different but it was yummy.

This week we started Football.

We started with quick drills then a class game. We enjoyed the traffic light Game.

This Week Mone has been learning to order his numbers. He has also been learning how to add numbers using one hand. Well don't Mone

This week for Fun Friday Maths we Looked at Measurement.

The first activity we did was getting ourselves into order from the shortest to the smallest person.

This week we also made Anzac biscuits with room 13.

First we looked at the ingredients that we needed. Then Van mixed all the ingredients for us and then we had the chance to roll some biscuit balls.

The best part was eating them and drinking our milk. It was deliscous.

This weeks Principals Award went to Paula .. Congratulations ️xx
